We can come to all homes and many work locations in the Louisville and surrounding area. For work locations, we require enough space surrounding the car to be able to safely perform the detail without interfering with other cars. Please contact us if you have a specific location in mind you would like to inquire about.
Yes! All of our premium details come with a 5-day spot check guarantee. If you're not happy with the service or we missed a spot, we will happily come back and make it right.

Total detailing time will depend on the condition of the car and the service level requested. Interior details typically take 2-3 hours, and full details around 3-4 hours, depending on car type, condition and any add-ons selected.
We enjoy meeting our customers before starting the detail and learning about any special requests or preferences, as well as go over pricing; however, we understand you have a busy schedule and will gladly work around your timing or can discuss over the phone or email. You do not need to be present at home or work for us to work on your vehicle.
Yes. Simply remove any personal belongings from your car and we'll take care of the rest. If any personal items are left in the vehicle, we will either work around them or place them in a sealed bag and leave them in the trunk or underneath the driver's seat. However, Thompson's Mobile Detail is not liable for ANY personal items that are left in the vehicle.
Payment can be made in person or over the phone after your detail is completed. We accept all major credit cards or cash. We do require a deposit to lock in your detail date.
Yes, we're fully insured!
Yes, you can cancel or reschedule at anytime. We request a 24 hour notice prior to the start of your detail. Please call or email to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you cancel or reschedule within the 24hr window you will lose your deposit no questions asked. Unfortunately in order to keep your schedule we turn away other appointments for the specific time, so if there is a cancel or reschedule we lose money for that time slot.
Yes, we supply our own water and power onboard our detailing vehicle. We don't need to plug into any electrical outlets or use your hose. However, there may be times your power or water is needed and we will make sure to communicate with you before we start the detail.
We will typically detail in any weather above 35° F degrees without heavy wind, rain or snow. We typically anticipate about 260 plus detailing days per year, so rest assured we will find the time to navigate any weather challenges we may face. We will reach out within 24 hours of your scheduled appt. time if a reschedule is needed.
